Click to link: Succos
Succos in Israel is an incredible time of rejoicing, dancing in the streets, concerts all over town and traffic. Everyone is going on adventures or visiting family and friends all over the country. This national holiday is taken very seriously, both for it's religious significance and as a very memorable time that is looked forward to all year. I tried to capture photos of succos in Israel in all it's walks of life and night lit photos of succahs in Ramat Beit Shemesh. Families strolling through the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, the crowds at the kotel for Birkat Kohanim, carefully inspecting the lulav and esrog for perfection and a the unusual sight of a nun buying coffee at a kosher cafe, I even caught an interview for Israel's channel 24 with a famous singer that I should know the name of but don't. Enjoy. I appreciate your feedback. If you enjoyed the site, e-mail your comments to: mailto:[email protected]
